Average Rating for Dryers

I purchased my new LG dryer about a month ago and do far I am extremely pleased with features not realized in past models of other brands I have owned. first was the ease of setting the exact cycle and time. Next is the built in dryness sensor which is wonderful. The two-way door was the main reason for this purchase and it is more convienient than I had estimated. Another feature I hadn't even thought of is the interior light coming on when the dryer door is opened. One other great feature is ... read more the ability to change the swing direction of the door.

    Great dryer
I had purchased another brand of washer / dryer but dryer did not dry, salesman talked me into a upgrade of a stainless drum dryer (200$ more) that did not dry any better , I ended up having the store pick the set up and bring me the LG set - I love them , the dryer works great on sensor and time cycle , door open 2 different ways , bright drum light , the washer is so quiet and has great features also , I am so happy I went with LG

    Drys well and looks great
We bought this a few weeks ago, We chose LG because we own other LG products and knew that we could trust the brand. It was a little intimidating at first since it is much higher tech than the dryer we replaced. Now I really love it -- the timed drying cycle is great -- and we can open it right or left or top. A great dryer at a very reasonable cost.

Everything One Could Want And Then Some
I have only used the dryer for 3 weeks now. I have only used the normal and bedding sections thus far. To be honest I will probably not use all the different cycles that are offered but they are there. Clothes dry much faster in this dryer compared to my old one. I am pleasantly surprised just how well this dryer works. It is really quiet too. The light inside the drum for me is a big plus. I look forward to the energy savings as well. This dryer gets my highest recommendation!!!!!!!

    Absolutely Happy...
It took me a month and a half of research to find the best washer and dryer built and even though it will always be subjective I believe the LG 3900 Model is it. My clothes are noticeably cleaner and smell wonderful, the dryer gets the clothes dry and wrinkle free the first cycle, the clothes are dry very quickly, my Apple Watch tells me when the washer or dryer have finished a load.. Anyway I'm very happy with my choice and I would give my LG's 6 stars if I could..

This is the absolute best dryer I have ever owned! I had no idea how much difference the right dryer could make. In the past I have always gone with the lower end dryers figuring all I needed was something that would work. Never again. LG has completed changed my view on this! I have been using this dryer for well over a month now and I love it. It looks incredible and I'm not ashamed of my laundry closet now. We even took off the doors and bought new baskets to compliment our washer ... read more and dryer! There is a setting for anything you can imagine. Mostly I just use the standard setting but if I need something different it is there. The dryer is very quiet and it doesn't bother me at all if we start a load right before bed. The dryer is just down the hall from my bedroom so with our old dryer it would keep me up. My husband enjoys this set as much as I do and he likes doing laundry now. Anything that can get your husband to help with chores is a definite plus in my book!

    Overal a Great Dryer
I recently moved so needed a new dryer. I read all the reviews regarding maintenance issues, value, quality, etc and LG was the dryer I selected. It dries the clothes on some setting very well, but others that I haven't figured out why yet, leave the clothes slightly damp. When I put them back in the dryer they come out the same way, immediately stopping the process. It doesn't matter what setting I put them back in with, the clothes come out the same. I guess I'll figure it out, but kind ... read more of aggravating at this point. It drops off line constantly for some reason as well. Other than that a great product.

Great drying performance, poor control knob design
This is my second LG dryer. The unit dries superbly and is extremely quiet. However, unless you have the unit mounted on a pedestal, good luck being able to tell which cycle it's set to. The new LED lighting changes focus from any viewing angle except head on. Due to space, I had to mount my units vertically. That means I'm looking down at the washer control knob and up at the dryer's. In those angles, the LED light lands between two cycle markings. An unfortunate design blunder.

Nice quiet dryer with few drawbacks
Purchased our washer and dryer during Home Depot's Black Friday Sale. We did get a good price when compared to the MSRP. After several weeks of ownership and service the unit performs well with only one minor issue...so far. That is, when paired with the large capacity WT7100CW washer (which it is) a full load of laundry in the dryer results in clothes falling on the floor when emptying the dryer. The door opening options allow the door to be opened from the left or right and not the ... read more bottom. If the door was hinged at the bottom it would eliminate this inconvenience.

We got this dryer 2 weeks ago and it would be a 5 star product if it there was a light when you open the door. (Inside the dryer). First dryer that I know of that does not have a light, if I would of known I would of never buy it. I would recommend this to a friend if they don't care for this feature.

    The Best!
I needed to buy a dryer and this LG model was recommended by Home Depot staff. The dryer is a delight. Easy to use. What surprises me the most is that all the items that emerge from the dryer are softer and smell clean. I had no idea that a dryer could make such a difference! I was so sold on the dryer that I ultimately added the paired LG washer to the laundry room. Both were excellent decisions.

    So far so good!
We have only had our appliances for a little over a month, but so far so good. I was able (after a couple hours) to get the washer on my WiFi, I still haven’t been able to get the dryer online though. That might be something LG wants to look into, why it’s so hard. Both the washer and dryer appear to be doing a good job, the nice part is that the clothes come out of the washer pretty well spun dry, an issue we had with the Samsung junk we had before. Both cycles seems to only take about 30 ... read more minutes for the size loads we wash. We love them and are glad we made the move to LG!

    good dryer so far
It worked as advertised. No complaints at all. Love that the door can open as a side opening door or open from the top to allow the door to act as a shoot for the clothes to go in the dryer. Just got it last week, though. Time will tell!

    Relief. Oh Sweet Relief
My previous dryer was a total nightmare. It was BUZZZZZZZZZ, downstairs to find damp clothes, start it up again, BUZZZZZZZZ, repeat until a few hours later I had somewhat dry enough clothes to put away. I had enough and I went with the LG. Boy is this thing sharp and I like the options. My wife loves the option to open up the door in two different ways. What we both like... is the fact I can put a load in, tell it how dry I want it, and set the temp and just forget about it. The app tells me my ... read more clothes are dry and I go down and THEY ARE DRY. Love you guys!
