Average Rating for OLED TVs

Outstanding picture and surprisingly good sound!
I've had this television for 2 weeks. It's my second LG; I also own a OLED55E7P. The picture is what I expect from LG OLED: exceptional. The surprise with this television is the sound from the TV itself. I'll be connecting to my Naim Uniti Nova and ATC speakers but the out-of-the-box sound of the E9 is at least as good as one might get from a decent sound bar. For my money LG sets the standard for video quality against which other manufacturers are measured.

    Outstanding OLED TV
I purchased a 65” LG OLED TV after considerable research on all models and brands! This LG does not disappoint in any way and is an outstanding top of the line model! The TV on Glass model (E9) was worth the extra price as it is a sleek and stylish model that looks great on or off!

    Unbelievable TV
Honestly the only reason that I bought the OLED was because my local cable company was no longer going to offer cable service so I had to buy a smart TV and start streaming. WOW, did they ever do me a favor!!!!! This LG OLED55E9PUA Smart TV is unbelievable, the clearest picture that I've ever seen, makes me feel like I'm sitting in a theater somewhere!!!! Hooking it up to a X Box means that I can do so many amazing things now!!!! I can't thank my cable company enough for not offering cable ... read more anymore and LG for making a one of a kind smart TV!!!!! Thanks to the both of you!!!!

Great for a room with a window.
The only place in my living room that I can put a TV is in front of the window. My current OLED TV is mounted on a stand that blocks most of the window (maybe 80%). With a rollable TV I'll be able to get more light in the room during the daytime.

    OLEDs are amazing!
I bought my first OLED almost 2 years ago and the quality or the build and picture always amaze me. LG is a great brand! I just bought a second 65inch OLED about a month ago and I look forward to unboxing this New LG Signature OLED TV when it releases! I'm completely blown away with how beautiful the design is.

    My first experience with OLED
I was looking for a OLED for an improved gaming experience from my old LCD monitor. Compared to that monitor, this TV looks so amazing! This TV supports all of the modern features such as 4K and HDR, but the visuals look even better because of the OLED display. The TV is also future-proofed with support for HDMI 2.1 (4K @120hz and VRR) which isn't big now, but will be prominent with next-gen consoles. I can see this TV lasting me at least five years.

    Really Impressive Display
I had the TV for approximately three weeks and I'm really impressed by the TV's OELD's display and the user interface for navigating. This TV replaces a 12 year old high quality plasma model that had great viewing angles. The LG's viewing angle is just as good and its display of black to white color ranges are extremely impressive. Both regular cable HD shows from my FIOS set top box and 4K content from Netflix looks great, with the 4K content being jaw dropping. It's nice that the TV easily ... read more integrated, Amazon, Netflix and set top box functionality all from the same remote control, and it is very easy to switch between them. I've even attached my blue tooth enabled streamer for hearing aids, directly to the optical port of the TV, and it works great too. Couldn't be happier with my choice to get the OLED model over the QLED or LED models.

    Best TV Ever!
After researching OLED TVs extensively, I decided to go with this one. Consumer Reports gave it an excellent review and for the money, even though it was expensive, it was the best value among OLEDs. Sony's price point for the same size OLED was $1,000 more. It's not a thousand dollars better, however. This LG OLED TV is the best quality picture of any TV I've owned, and I'm glad I spent the extra money on an OLED. OTOH, the owner's manual and other literature that comes with the TV is ... read more pathetic. I'm searching online for a detailed, step-by-step manual of all its wonderful features. I'd even pay for such a book or manual, assuming it was a quality publication. For example, although the bulit-in Alexa feature works perfectly, I can't get it to respond to a single LG TV Alexa command. I've done the Alexa installation in detail according to the on-screen TV's steps, but Alexa just doesn't respond to any TV commands. I decided to not downgrade my overall rating for the above manual deficiencies because the manual situation has nothing to do with the TV itself. If anyone has any manual availability suggestions, please feel free to email me at DanK5 at Hotmail dot com. Thanks! Dan Kap, Buckeye, AZ

LG - Living Good and Loving It!
Most of us certainly hope that LG's 8K OLDE88Z9PUA, or a future 8K model, supports 3D. I also hope that 77-inch and 65-inch or, better yet, 66-inch models, are available from LG. I don't expect any television manufacturer to support 8K in models smaller than 65-inches simply because the effects of 8K are negligible when looking at 55-inch and smaller TVs.

    Amazing Value- Unsurpassed Quality
This is not a television. The OLED 8k 88' is a movie theatre in search of the right home. Fortunately it will be in my home. There is no other tv on the market that is comparable. Inest in yourself and your home theatre experience.
