Perfect display...when you have a perfect source
This TV is big, beautiful, and powerful. When watching Netflix, playing games on an Xbox One S or PS4, or watching BluRay movies, this display shines! However, it struggles to produce a clear 1080p image when displaying content delivered through cable/satellite. Still images are perfect, but any motion produces annoying artifacts that are magnified by the display's large size. I have researched settings and tried multiple setup configurations to mitigate these artifacts, but they are highly, ... read more highly annoying...especially when watching sports or fast-motion scenes. Sadly, even scrolling messages (like you find at the bottom of sports or news channels) produces this "noise". And yes, I made sure to purchase 4k capable HDMI cables. Overall, I am very happy with this display, and I am not expecting a 4k image from a 1080i source like cable or satellite, but I AM disappointed in the lack of ability to get rid of the motion artifacts that make sports seem less than hi-definition and even TV news anchor's mouths to become blurry/grainy. This display is best suited for movie watching and game playing (with an HDR capable console) than it is everyday TV watching in my opinion.

    Awesome picture
This TV has a wonderful picture, great sound, and the smart remote is a nice feature. However, it would have been nice to add all the HDMI to the side vice pointing them backward. It puts stress on the HDMI cord since they are pointing toward the wall when you choose a wall mount. Also, the Google assistant Has been having issues hooking up to the google home. I cant get it to link up with my google home.

    Beautiful Picture and Features
I bought this last month from Best Buy while the LG promotion was going on. I am very happy I made this choice because I got a very good price compared to the current price. The picture is beautiful. It took a little getting used to the magic wand remote and setting up my HDMI plugs to work with my various devices. I am pleased with the TV speakers as they put out a decent sound for watching news and sitcoms. But for movies, I switch to my Polk soundbar which is a little better than the tv ... read more speakers. I am happy with the features of the TV which is located in my bedroom. This is my second LG tv, the other is a 47" in my family room. It comes with 3D glasses for watching 3D movies. Overall I am very pleased with the 55SK9000PUA tv.

    Almost awesome.
There are a couple of things to keep in mind with this great TV. 1. Google Assistant build in DOES NOT MEAN that this TV has Chromecast capabilities. You cannot cast to this TV without a Chromecast device attached. 2. LG purports this this TV to be focused on Live OTA content. What this means in practice is that you cannot launch an app like You Tube TV upon startup. If you are a cord cutter and intend to use the Smart TV apps only, this TV is not for you. Every time I turn on the TV ... read more I get loud static and a static filled screen because I don't have an antenna or set top cable box. 3. The last glaring defect with this TV is some ongoing licencing battle between LG and HBO. So you won't be finding an HBO Now or HBO Go app in the LG Content Store. I bought this TV to get rid of my annoying setup of tablets and Chromecasts and nVidia Shields (Which don't support Hulu Live TV). I wanted everything in one box: 4K TV, Smart cord cutting apps (Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube TV, Showtime Anytime, HBO Go.). I almost got everything, but since HBO doesn't have an app, I am stuck connecting a Chromecast again and using a tablet to cast GOT season 8. CAVEAT: If you want HBO and do not yet have a subscription, you can subscribe from inside the Amazon Prime Video App. You cannot add a current HBO subscription to it though, you have to have a new one purchased through Amazon. That means that you have to be a Prime Member too. If this is you, then this TV is almost the best of everything. Since my smart home is based on Google Home devices and not Amazon Alexa, I'll be purchasing another nVidia Shield to provide input to this TV.

    Great picture!!!
This is my second tv. My previous tv,LG UH8500,unfortunately it stopped working, bad led’s,after only 4yrs. What it would have cost to fix it,I just bought another tv. I like the brand and the pricing is fair so I went with the 55sk8000PUA. The picture is even better than my last one and the features are great. It’s an all around good tv and easy to use. I hope being an updated tv,it lasts longer.

Really Nice Picture Across the Room
Our TV room is about 22ft across. The 65" Super UHD TV works great, especially as we get older and need more definition. Looks great if you have a provider with HD channels

Great picture and easy to figure out how to use
Love this TV. It does about everything except serve dinner while watching :-) It has an internet browser with lotsa apps. I love the videos that show how to set things up. The TV allows you to share your computer screen and we can also use airplay from the iphone. Color and picture are great. The only thing I wonder about is that some shows seem to have a "soap opera" type picture. I am not sure if this is "normal" for 4K TVs. Otherwise, I love LG cuz Life's Good.

    Excellent TV/Lousy Stand
The picture quality is outstanding. However, the stand (mine came with a pedestal not the new one pictured) is horrible. It is mounted properly but the entire TV wobbles back to front and side to side. Terrible design! Also there is an exceptionally annoying Google Assist popup screen, which appears each time you turn the TV on. As it is mostly another attempt by Google to target advertising you should be able to disable it once without it continuing to pop up. Google did not pay for this TV, I did!

    Excellent picture and features
I purchased this a year ago, and finally a year later set it up, it was a breeze to set up and more than I expected, wow when I turned it on I was blown away, love the features but the magic remote and the channel plus, just amazing, everything about this tv is amazing! I’ve been a consumer of LG products for so long, Thank you LG! You guys rock! It’s always a win win for me with your products!

    Awesome TV
I have had my new LG TV for not quite 30 days but am really enjoying it. Of all the brands I love LG the best. The picture, sound and user interface is great and love the bigger screen. Currently I own 3 LG TVs.....50", 55" and now a 65". The guide on this model is so much better than previous models as you can see current and future programming, set reminders, etc. The magic remote makes moving around the screen very easy like a mouse with a computer.

    Happy with my purchase
Just the right size for my LR. Great picture. Reasonably priced for a 4K TV. No problems thus far. I’m not really a techie, so I can’t really give a review for all the “smart” tv things I’m sure it does, but It does software updates as they are available and has good wi-fi connectivity. Overall very happy with my purchase.

So far I am happy with the TV. The picture is very clear, definitely brings out a lot of detail; no more ragged looking letters. Some people complain that webOS is slow, I disagree. My TV turns on in about 2 seconds and I can bring up Netflix or Amazon Prime Video in 5 seconds or less; usually less. If I had to find a negative about anything I would say the screen is a little too bright; about twice as bright as my older LG 55". Maybe it's just something I have to get used too.

    Pleasantly Surprised
I had the SK8000 model prior to the SK9000, the picture quality difference is significantly better and worth the couple of hundred more. LG was selected because they have the only side angle viewing TV available and this is what we needed for the intended room, side viewing is possible with this TV.

I bought this TV at Sam's Club, and it arrived with the screen smashed in. I called to return and replace it with another. No problems whatsoever! I actually got the replacement TV before the broken one was picked up! It took 2 men to hang it on the wall and from there the set up was sooooo easy! At this point, neither my husband or I are very tech savvy so we're still getting used to the Magic Remote and tweaking some of the settings, but all in all, we ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!!!

    Love the images
Bought this to replace my Mitsubishi 82 inch, got to say miss the size to a 75 inch. But this tv brings out the real images and real to life action, it is worth it.

Great TV at a great price.
After a lot of research an reading the ratings on the LG 75inch TV, I went for it. I'm so glad I did. This is one fantastic TV, I love all the features and the wide gambit of fine tuning you can do to get the best picture. I've only had it for 2 weeks an I'm still learning with all the features, what you can do with the TV, this is by far the best TV I've owned,. I replaced my Mitsubishi 73 inch which had a great picture for 14 years. The new lg 75 TV is just awesome. Thank you LG for a nother great product.
